3.8 CREPE TAPE (OPTIONAL)
Portables equipped with the crepe tape
application have a tape folder mounted to the
throat plate and the input side of the machine.

Check to see that the
fasteners are tight and that the tape is properly
threaded through the folder to the presser foot.

needs
to
be
guided through
the machine cut

tape as shown

6. This allows
the tape to pass
through
the
folder
more
easily.
The
folder should fold the tape evenly over the bag
top before is travels under the presser foot
where it is sewn to the bag.
Create a thread
chain
after
threading
the
tape through. A
couple
of
test
bags should be
sewn
and
checked.
When feeding a bag top
into the machine, it is
important to keep it level
with the machine's sew
line. The bag top should
also be as far up into the
folder as possible to
create a small "soft top".

Cinta Crepé (Opcional)
Las portátiles equipadas con el accesorio
de cinta crepé tienen un doblador de cinta
montado en la placa de garganta y a lado
de la entrada de la máquina (Ilustración
5). Revise que los pasadores estén bien
apretados y que la cinta esté ensartada
apropiadamente, a través del doblador del

bolsa antes de que pase por el pie
