5.10 PRESSER FOOT
The presser foot firmly holds the bag material
against the throat plate while the needle passes
through the bag. It is also responsible for
holding the bag against the feed dog as it pulls
the bag through the machine.
MAINTENANCE
Periodically check the fasteners to make sure
they are tight and lubricate the presser foot
hinges. Wipe off the excess lubricant.
PRESSER FOOT REPLACEMENT
1.
Disconnect the machine from the power
source and place on a workbench.
2.
Raise the presser foot using the lift lever.

3.
Turn the machine pulley so that the
needle is in the highest position.
4.
Loosen the two set screws (E) on the
back of the presser foot and remove the
foot. (Illustration 40)
5.
Attach the new foot to the presser foot
bar.
Note the flat
area on the bar. The
set screws (E) are to
tighten
down
these flat areas, if
the presser foot is
facing the correct
direction.

Pie Prensador
El pie prensador sostiene firmemente el
material de la bolsa contra la placa de
garganta mientras la aguja pasa a través
de la bolsa. Además es responsable de
mantener la bolsa contra el alimentador
dentado mientras éste hala la bolsa a
travéz de la máquina.
MANTENIMIENTO
Revise periódicamente los pernos para
asegurarse
de
apretados y lubrique el gozne del pie
prensador.
Limpie
lubricante.
CAMBIO DEL PIE PRENSADOR
1. Desconecte la máquina y colóquela en
la banca de trabajo.
2. Levante el pie prensador utilizando la
palanca (Ilustración 24, página 30).
3. Rote la polea de la máquina de manera
que la aguja quede arriba.
4. Afloje el juego de tornillos (E) en la
parte posterior del pie prensador y
retire el pie (Ilustración 40).
5. Pegue el nuevo pie a
