MONTHLY INSPECTION
Check safety devices.
Stopcocks must shut off gas completely.
Make sure that this occurs by starting the
machine and then closing the cock. The
flame should go out immediately.
Opening the door the drum should stop spin-
ning.
YEARLY INSPECTION
Make sure the belt is in good working order
and change, if necessary.
Check that the screws for electrical connec-
tion are tight on the contactors and inlet ter-
minal board. Clean thoroughly the electrical
heating elements or gas burners, but use no
corrosive chemicals or detergents on them.
Make sure the safety devices are operating
correctly: the earth connection and circuit
breaker located before the appliance.
Clean the fume exhaust duct and central
pipe.
PRIOR TO CONNECTING POWER SUP-
PLY AGAIN BY THE MAIN CUTOFF
SWITCH ON THE WALL, OR BEFORE
OPENING THE GAS COCK, PUT ALL
THE REMOVED PANELS BACK IN
PLACE.
8.4 IDENTIFYING AND ORDERING
SPARE PARTS
To identify the codes of spare parts send a
written order through your dealer, mention-
ing clearly the model, serial number, feed
voltage and frequency of your appliance
and, of course, including details on the spare
parts you need (description, functions and
rating plate data, if any).
9. SUGGESTIONS FOR PUTTING
THE APPLIANCE OUT OF SER-
VICE, DISMANTLING AND DISPOS-
ING OF IT
If the dryer is no longer to be used, it is
advisable to put it out of service and suitably
dispose of the resulting materials, consider-
ing the indications provided in the chapter
"Prescriptions, restrictions and other
uses".
Remove door. Cover fume and gas outlets.
Disconnect the power cord from the main
cutoff switch and plug the cable clip, if any.
Please, for the sake of the environment, sort
the materials in accordance with the waste
disposal provisions in force in your country,
so that they can be properly disposed of or
recycled. All the parts composing the case
can be treated as solid urban waste, except
for the metal parts, which nevertheless are
not classed among special waste in most
European countries.
INFORMATION TO USERS
Pursuant to article 13 of law decree 25 July
2005, nr. 151 relating to "Implementation
of Directives 2002/95/EC, 2002/96/EC and
2003/108/EC concerning the reduction in
the use of hazardous substances in electric
and electronic apparatus, as well as waste
disposal"
The deleted dustbin symbol on the appliance
indicates the product must be disposed of
separate from other wastes once it reaches
the end of its life cycle.
Once the appliance has reached the end of its
life cycle, the user must therefore take it to a
suitable pre-sorted waste centre for electronic
and electro-technical appliances, or return it
to the dealer on purchasing a new similar
appliance, on a one for one basis.
Adequate pre-sorted waste collection before
subsequently sending the appliance for
recycling, treatment and environmentally
compatible disposal helps avoid possible
negative effects on the environment and
health and favours the recycling of the
materials making up the appliance.
Unlawful disposal of the product by the user
is punishable by the administrative sanctions
indicated in law decree nr. 22/1997 (article
50 and following articles of law decree nr.
22/1997).
