Assembly of guide handle

Insert the two lower sections of the guide handle 8
B
through the opening of the mower, as shown.
The two lower sections of the guide handle 8 are
C
pushed over the handle bolt with the boreholes.
The lower sections of the guide handle can only be
pushed onto the handle bolts when the cut-outs
in the boreholes and the nose of the handle bolt
are aligned with each other. Once both are
aligned, the handle will slide over the bolt.
Caution, mower protection! Do not use force.
This could damage the mechanism.
Connect the components as shown, from bottom to
D
top.
To assemble, insert the frame clamping screw 5 from
left to right as follows:
Borehole cable clamp 6, bar borehole of left lower sec-
tion 8, through both boreholes of centre part 7, bar
borehole of right lower section 8. Next, place washer
on frame clamping screw and hand-tighten the screw
with the clamping grip 4.
Screw centre part 7 to assembled lower part 8.
Assembly of the top part 3 is performed in the same
manner.
Caution, mower protection! Do not crush cable
in any way. During assembly, ensure that cable is
properly positioned in cut-out of cable clamp and
is not crushed when tightened.
Setting of cutting height

Caution, risk of injury from rotating cutting
equipment! Set cutting height only when motor
is switched off and circuit breaker is disconnected.
Set cutting height only low enough for cutting
equipment not to touch any uneven ground.
Place mower on solid, flat surface.
Use cutting height adjustment 13 to continuously adjust
cutting height between 20 mm - 45 mm.
Stand in front of the mower. Loosen both lock nuts
E
14.
Using both hands, set desired cutting height on cut-
F
ting height adjustment 13.
The scale on cutting height adjustment 13 indicates
approximate cutting height:
45 mm = longest cut
20 mm = shortest cut
Ensure that the cutting height marking arrows on
both sides indicate the same cutting height on the
scale. The cutting equipment may only be set
deep enough so that the lower blade cannot touch
the ground, regardless of any unevenness.
Once you have set the correct cutting height, tighten the
two lock nuts 14 again.
Inserting battery
Caution, risk of injury from rotat-
ing and sharp cutting equipment!

the carrying strap with your left hand to the left
side, so that strap ends rest flush against the battery
9.
Ensure that contact rail 10 is dry and free from any
contamination. When inserting battery 9 do not use
force.
Push battery 9 into contact rail 10 until it noticeably

locks in place with a "click".
Store carrying strap in looped form in carrying strap
