• The food has to be pretreated before drying, for ex-
ample, by cleaning, cutting, stripping, immersing,
etc. This pre-treatment helps in preserving the col-
our and taste of the food.
• The compartments should not be overloaded with
food items. Food items should not be placed one
above the other. Different food items have different
drying times.
• During operation, the appliance heats up to the set
temperature. Arrange the food items properly to
achieve a uniform drying effect.
• The dried food items should be enclosed in a con-
tainer or plastic bag if they are not consumed imme-
diately. It is advisable to put them in a refrigerator.
• After completion, all the trays should be stacked on
the product, regardless of whether food is still pres-
ent in the trays.
• The appliance should be loaded from top to bottom,
since the time required is less going downwards ow-
ing to the slightly higher temperature.
• All removable parts of the appliance are dishwasher
safe.
