PRINCIPLE OF OPERATION
The following describes an OPERATING CYCLE and a VACUUM TEST cycle, preceded
by a short description of the PRE-HEATING principle (refer to the user manual for the
times of each cycle that the autoclave can perform).
PRE-HEATING
The autoclave features a completely automatic pre-heating function which speeds
up the operating cycles of the autoclave.
After having installed the machine and removed the accessory kit from inside the chamber,
switch on the device by setting the button
AK
located on the side of the control panel
AN
at – I – and open the door.
Upon start-up the name of the machine is displayed followed by a status check of the
peripherals with the firmware release.
After a few seconds the main screen of the machine is displayed followed by an acoustic
signal, indicating the successful barometric alignment.
The pre-heating function is active in all operating and test cycles except for the VACUUM
TEST in which it is disabled. During this stage the heating element raises the temperature
of the chamber surface to 80°.
Prepare the instruments to be sterilized, put them on the special trays and on the seats of
the tray holders, insert them into the chamber and close the door manually, by turning the
closing lever.
