3. Verify that the equipment to be protected by the UPS is
powered off.
4. Connect one of the supplied communication cables to the UPS
communication port according to your computer system:
For the RS/6000.
S
software, use the supplied RS/6000 communication cable.
For PCs and workstations.
S
supplied with the power management software CD.
5. If you installed optional EBMs, continue to Step 6; otherwise,
skip to Step 8.
6. Turn the battery breaker on all EBMs to the ON position.
