ANAESTIVAC 1 & 2 –
 The pressure exceeds the high-pressure alarm setting while the turbine is turning (see § 2.5.3 for setting
information on the MILLENIUM system),
This fault triggers the malfunction light after a 1-minute delay.
The recoverable voltage-free contact
A general alarm change-over contact (C, NO, NC) can be carried over remotely.
This contact is provided for 250 Vac maxi tension and 6A maxi intensity.
This contact is switched when a fault occurs:
 Voltage is present,
 Loss of current,
 Temperature breaker,
 Pressure.

ANAESTIVAC 2 panel
Overview
1.
Turbine A or B On/Off switch:
"Off" position: the turbine is switched off.
3
"On" position: the turbine will run
according
to
the
position
of
the
auto/manual switch or the pressure level
in the system.
2.
Auto/Manual switch:
"Auto" position: the pressure level in the
3
system determines when the turbine
starts.
"Manual" position: force starts
the
turbine.
3.
Green "turbine A or B operating" light: comes on when the turbine is operating in either manual or
automatic mode.
4.
ANAESTIVAC 2 MILLENIUM automated system: see § 2.5.3.
5.
Master switch: cuts the electricity supply to the station.
6.
Green "power on" light: comes on when power is being supplied to the switch box.
7.
Green "station operating" light: comes on when the station is functioning and goes off if the two
turbines have come to a stop normally or if a pressure fault occurs lasting more than 1 minute.
8.
Orange "malfunction" light: comes on if turbine A or B develops a problem, in one of the following
situations:
 The current to the primary turbine has been lost,
 The temperature at the primary turbine exhaust is unusually high and has triggered the temperature
breaker. This fault triggers the malfunction light if it lasts for at least 30 seconds,
 The pressure has not reached the low-pressure alarm setting following a 1-minute delay after the primary
turbine has been started (see § 2.5.3 for setting information on the MILLENIUM system).
 When the primary turbine causes one of the malfunctions described above, the auxiliary turbine will cut in.
9.
Red "pressure fault" light: comes on when the pressure level does not reach the default vacuum
pressure level following a 2-minute delay after the primary and auxiliary turbines have been started.
This light comes on if the pressure exceeds the high-pressure alarm setting (see §2.5.3) after a 1-minute delay.

The carry-over voltage-free contact
A general alarm change-over contact (5 – 6 - 7) can be carried over remotely.
This contact is provided for 250 Vac maxi tension and 6A maxi intensity.
This contact is switched when a fault occurs:
 Voltage is present,
 Loss of current to turbine A or B,
 A or B temperature breaker,
 Pressure.
An NC contact (10 - 11) is linked to the orange "malfunction" light.
An NC contact (8 - 9) is linked to the red "pressure fault" light.
2.5.3.
How the MILLENIUM system operates
Alarms management
Line n°1: control pressure in mbar.
Line n°2: "Gas Evac Ready"
waiting for the turbines to be activated.
"turbine : A" or "turbine : B" or "turbine: A B"
Line n°3: "manual mode"
when the switch is on manual mode
Or "** ALARM **"
if an alarm has been activated.
Line n°4: shows either :
● current alarms
● parameters
If an alarm has been activated, "** ALARM **" will appear
on line 3.
Line 4 will then show the type of alarm that has been
generated, in sequence:
Power loss A: electrical current to the turbine
has been lost,
Temperature breaker A: The temperature
breaker for turbine A has been triggered. The
fault will disappear automatically.
Power loss B: electrical current to the turbine
has been lost,
Temperature breaker B: The temperature
breaker for turbine B has been triggered. The
fault will disappear automatically.
Low press.: the pressure in the system is below
the low-pressure alarm setting. Hysteresis: 20
mbar.
High press.: the pressure in the system is higher
than the high-pressure alarm setting.
If no alarm has been activated: "condition OK"
will be displayed on line 4
