18. Do not pull on the power
cord. Do not hang the power
cord over the edge of a
countertop. Do not wrap the
power cord around the appli-
ance and avoid kinking of the
power cord.
19. Make sure that the power
cord does not come into con-
tact with the hot parts of the
appliance. Do not touch hot
parts. Always use pot hold-
ers.
20. The appliance becomes hot
during operation. Please use
pot holders. Never cover the
appliance during operation.
21. Provide for adequate ventila-
tion when the appliance is in
operation.

23. The appliance does not shut
off automatically. Therefore,
set the temperature selector

tion. Always use pot holders whenever the appliance is in operation or as
long as it is still hot.
