Advanced operations
The RS 232 and the MP5 connection must be performed with the instrument always disconnect
to power.
MultiMeter 44 in all its versions has one RS 232 interface that can be used for:
Communication with a PC, "Send to PC": for "on-line" data sending with frequency
•
programmed in the Data Logger or Data Logger information extraction.
Messages sending through GSM to a mobile phone.
•
Data Logger information extraction for later data analysis. For this purpose "memory
•
module" is required. It connects directly to the external MP-5 connector.
External Hold. RS232 configuration for regulation blocking. Crossing the signal Rx
•
and Tx, the regulation through relays or 4-20 mA is inhibited.
The connection for data sending can be done in external connector MP-5 or to rear panel
The instrument only allows sending one data connection, or the connection to the connector strip
(rear panel) or the external MP-5
