ADDITIONAL FITTING INFORMATION
• The product is intended for single patient use only.
• In the event that modifications are made to the product, other than by
a health care professional, and/or of the inappropriate use of the
product described above, the producer is no longer liable for the
effects of using the product.
• You will find a sticker with a batch number, so that the product can be
traced, in the box. Place this sticker in the patient's notes.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE PATIENT

Please read the directions below closely. If you have any questions,
contact the health care professional who is treating you.
NOTE: You put on the Carp-X in two steps:
1. Insert your hand in the hand plate as shown in Figure 8, and place the
hand plate in the correct position on your hand as shown in Figure 9.
2. Place the wrist plate over your wrist (Figure 10) and secure the hook
and loop strap.
ADDITIONAL PATIENT APPLICATION
• If you are receiving other treatments, discuss the health risks or other
negative effects that might arise from the use of this product with
your doctor.
• To judge whether you can safely function with the Carp-X in your
working environment, please contact your Occupational Health
Department.
WASHING INSTRUCTIONS AND CARE
The Carp-X may be cleaned by hand in lukewarm water, using a cloth. Do
not put the Carp-X in a washing machine or dryer. The covering may be
washed in lukewarm water. When the Carp-X is not being worn, the hook
and loop on the strap should always be closed, so as to preserve the
hook and loop.
