Ameda Pumpset Milk Collection System

Before Every Use

Always wash hands well with soap and water before
handling the Ameda Elite Breast Pump and Ameda
Pumpset Milk Collection System.
IMPORTANT NOTE: ONLY USE THE AMEDA PUMPSET
MILK COLLECTION SYSTEM ON AMEDA ELECTRIC BREAST
PUMPS.
Prior to starting pump, assemble and connect the Ameda
Pumpset Milk Collection System, per included instructions.
If the Ameda Pumpset Milk Collection System is sterile, use
as is. If not sterile, see the Ameda Pumpset Milk Collection
System cleaning instructions.

The Ameda Pumpset Milk Collection System can be used
to single or dual pump.
To single pump:
Remove one tube and
close tubing adapter.

Operating the Pump

to break suction, remove breast flange(s) from breast(s).

Setting Suction

Increase the suction by
turning the 'VACUUM' dial to
the right. Increase suction

comfort level.
If discomfort is felt in nipple(s)
or breast(s), decrease suction.
If discomfort is felt at all
suction settings, turn pump

Setting Speed

all the way to the right to
increase the speed and
trigger a milk ejection reflex
(let-down).
turn the 'CYCLES' dial to the
left to slow down the speed
to help drain the breast

Turning Pump OFF

the 'VACUUM' dial all the
way to the left to turn the
pump off.
