turn the temperature switch up to the desired temperature
and continue to circulate. (Alternatively you can use a pump
for this circulation process. To this end you click a tube in
the horseshoe shaped clip on the Brew Ring.) Stir gently
during the mashing process.
FILTERING
Start heating the rinsing water to the
required temperature according to your
brewing scheme, in order that the water is at
temperature when you need it for the filtering
process.
Once the mashing process has ended, slowly
lift the malt pipe out of the brew kettle and
put the Brew Ring in its place. Then you can
slowly put the malt pipe on the Brew Ring.
After the malt pipe has been placed on the
Brew Ring, let it drain until the top of the
malt bed becomes dry, then you can start
the filtration using the right amount of rinsing
water (use the amount of rinsing water as stated in your
recipe). During the filtration, you can already start heating
up the wort, so it's already near boiling point once the
filtering is completely finished.
BOILING
After the filtration has finished, you can
start with the boiling process. Switch the
temperature to maximum. Remove the malt
pipe when it has almost ceased to drip. For
the addition of the other ingredients (hops,
herbs, sugar...) please follow your recipe.
Be careful that the brew kettle does not boil
over. When it boils over, regulate the temper-
ature, either with the power regulator or the
temperature switch.
