INSTALLER
- BOILER INSTALLATION
1.1
Warnings.
Victrix 24 kW boilers have been designed for wall mounted installation
only, to heat rooms for domestic and similar purposes.
The wall surface must be smooth, without any protrusions or recesses
enabling access to the rear part. They are NOT designed to be installed on
plinths or floors (see figure).
Changing the type of installation will also change the classification of the
boiler, that is to say:
- Internal installation:
- without one inlet plug and with top cover. Exhaust terminal Ø80
(configuration type B
);
23
- without the top cover, keeping the two side plugs fitted and with the
concentric terminals and separators (configuration type C).
- External installation in a partially protected location:
- without one inlet plug and with top cover. Exhaust terminal Ø80
(configuration type C);
- with the concentric terminals, keeping the two side plugs fitted. In
this case the top cover is recommended but not compulsory (this
configuration is also classified as type C).
Immergas gas appliances must be installed exclusively by a professionally
qualified and authorised technician. Installation must be carried out ac-
cording to the standards, current legislation and in compliance with local
technical regulations and the required procedures.
Before installing the appliance, ensure that it is delivered in perfect condi-
tion; if in doubt, contact the supplier immediately. Packaging materials
(staples, nails, plastic bags, expanded polystyrene etc.) constitute a hazard
and must be kept out of the reach of children. If the appliance is installed
inside or between other cabinets or furniture, ensure sufficient space for
normal maintenance; a clearance of at least 3 cm between the boiler casing
and the sides of the cabinet is recommended. There must be sufficient space
above and below the boiler to allow operations on the plumbing connec-
tions and on the exhaust discharge system. Keep all flammable objects well
away from the appliance (paper, cloths, plastic, polystyrene, etc.). In the
event of malfunctions, faults or incorrect operation, switch the appliance
off immediately and contact a qualified technician (e.g. from the Immergas
Service centre for specifically trained personnel and use of original spare
parts). Never attempt to modify or repair the appliance alone.

IRELAND
Failure to observe the above implies personal responsibility and renders the
guarantee null and void.
• Installation standards: this boiler can be installed externally in a partially
protected location. A partially protected location is one in which the
boiler is not exposed to the direct action and penetration of atmospheric
phenomena (rain, snow, hail, etc..).
Important: Wall mounting of the boiler must guarantee stable and efficient
support for the generator.
The plugs supplied are to be used only in conjunction with the mounting brackets
or fixing template to fix the appliance to the wall; they only ensure adequate
support if inserted correctly (according to technical standards) in walls
made of solid or semi-hollow brick or block. In the case of walls made
from bricks or cavity bricks, partitions with limited static properties, or in
any case walls other than those indicated, a static test must be carried out
to ensure adequate support.
N.B.: the hex head screws supplied in the blister pack are to be used
exclusively to fix the relative mounting bracket to the wall.
These boilers are used to heat water to below boiling temperature in at-
mospheric pressure.
The appliance must be connected to a heating circuit and domestic water
distribution circuit in correspondence to performance and power specifi-
cations.
