Before operating the lava stone chargrill, make sure that no objects blocks the inlet of fresh air to bur-
ners (e.g. the openings inside the compartment behind the doors).
•
Before operating the lava stone chargrill, make sure that no flammable substances (bottles, papers) are
stored near the appliance or inside the compartment behind the doors)..
•
Before operating the appliance, it is essential to place the volcanic stone on the appropriate bracket
between the burner and the grate, distributing it evenly. Use only volcanic stone in the amount of about
3 kg for a single module and 6 kg for a double module
•
The unit is equipped with an electric igniter (spark generator) to facilitate daily operation - starting the
main burner
•
When grilling, the temperature should be controlled through the gas valve
•
The device is equipped with a removable container for waste residues and garbage.
•
To remove waste from the drawer, pull out the drawer and throw the contents into the trash.
•
Note - periodically clean the burner from volcanic stone ash and grilling residue.
•
The main burner must be cleaned daily of combustion residue with a wire brush. The holes in the
burner should be clean and free from contamination. Before starting the appliance, make sure that fat
has not settled on lava stones, as this may be ignited during start-up, causing fire
4.1. Starting the appliance
To start the lava grill, turn on the control pilot light (control pilot prevents uncontrolled gas leaks). To do
this:
•
Set the valve knob to the position marked with asterisk
•
Press the knob of the valve, start the spark generator while holding the knob in this position (silver
button marked with a star)
•
Check the pilot from the hearth side (raise the grate with the stones or look through the hole in the
panel) - the flame should glow bright blue. Hold the valve knob for about 20 seconds to heat up the
thermocouple.
•
When the thermocouple is warmed up, the pilot flame does not go out - the unit is ready for use. If the
pilot flame goes out, return to the first step.
•
Use the main dial to set the approximate plate temperature
•
To completely switch off the appliance, rotate the knob to the dot position. The control flame will go
out.

MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING
Before starting any maintenance work, switch off the appliance, wait for it to cool down, and disconnect the
appliance from voltage.
Daily maintenance involves cleaning the grate and emptying the waste drawer. The grate must be cleaned
of frying residue.
Thorough cleaning of the appliance ensures that it functions properly for a long time. Steel surfaces should
be cleaned with a dishwasher diluted in very warm water and a soft cloth. Use ethyl alcohol, acetone or
other halogen-free solvent to remove dirt. Do not use abrasive powders or corrosive substances such as
hydrochloric or sulfuric acid. Using acids may impair the functioning and safety of the appliance. Do not use
brushes or metal items as they may cause rust spots. For the same reason, contact with metallic objects
should be avoided. Note the stainless steel brushes and blades, which, while not contaminating surfaces,
may scratch them dangerously. In case of high degree of soiling, absolutely do not use sandpaper; we
recommend using synthetic sponges.
