STORAGE
•
NEVER store equipment in or on
the helmet that is not explicitly
authorized by MSA
CairnsHELMETS. Storage of
gloves, wedges, lights and other
equipment could dramatically
change the helmet's protective
capacity.
•
Store helmet in a clean, dry area
where it is not exposed to heat,
cold or sunlight which can affect
the helmet's useful service life.
•
Do not store the helmet with the
lining ratchet face down on a flat
surface. Storage in this manner
(ratchet fully extended) may cause
the lining band and ratchet band
mechanism to bend or distort. This
may affect comfort and fit.
•
Store the helmet with ratchet sus-
pension set to its smallest size
when not in use.
