INTRODUCTION
DANGER
•
Firefighting is an extremely dan-
gerous activity. Do not perform
this activity unless properly
trained and equipped.
•
This helmet is NFPA and/or
OSHA compliant depending on
the configuration chosen (see
label). It is designed to provide
LIMITED protection to the head
when worn during structural fire-
fighting activities. Avoid expo-
sure to flashovers, collapses,
falls, and other conditions that
may exceed the protective
capacity of the helmet.
•
Use adequate eye protection.
Removal of goggles or
faceshield voids the helmet's
NFPA certification.
•
The faceshield provides LIMITED
protection to the facial area it
covers.
•
Bourkes are for cosmetic pur-
poses only and provide NO eye
or face protection. Using
bourkes voids the helmet's NFPA
certification.
•
This helmet MUST fit firmly on
the head with the chin strap
securely fastened to provide
maximum protection.
