9. Maintenance, Care and Storage
Accidents and equipment failure
can be prevented by regular
checks (screwed connections
firmly attached, cracks, damage)
and by replacing damaged or
worn parts.
Repairs should only be under-
taken by authorised specialists
on safety grounds. A list of
service centres is enclosed with
the equipment.
Warning! Always pull

Danger of damage to equip-
ment: never clean electrical
equipment under running water,

Exchanging the Blade
Please only use original replace-
ments blades supplied by the
manufacturer. Original replace-
ment blades are available from
your specialist dealer.
Never use replacement parts
or accessories not supplied by
the manufacturer.
If the cutter bar is damaged,
it must be replaced due to the
associated problems with
imbalance. For safety reasons,
the cutter bar must only be
replaced at the service centres
approved by the manufacturer
or by specialist dealers.
Do not regrind the cutter bar
(out of balance).
To replace the cutter bar, loosen
both of the screws (fig. 6 pos. 2).

Caution! Repairs that

When inserting it, ensure that

tighten them. (Torque: 8 Nm).
Care
Dirt and grass residue is easiest
to remove immediately after
mowing. Unplug from the mains
and lay the mower on its side.
Clean with a brush and a cloth.
Never clean the lawn-

water, in particular, do not use

Storage
Allow the motor to cool down
before placing the machine in
an enclosed space. The guide
bar can be folded together to
save space.
