5.3 Tire Mounting
Above all, check the tire and rim to prevent an explosion during the inflation process. Before the installation,
make sure that the tire and tread are not damaged. If not, do not mount the tire; the rim shall be free of dent and
warpage. Make sure that there is no tiny crack inside the aluminum alloy rim. Otherwise, the cracks may result in
the risks, especially during the inflation.
Lubricate the tire edge with the special lubricating grease to avoid the damage to the edge and facilitate the operation.
Do not put your hand(s) under the tire while locking the rim. The correct operation may make the tire exactly at
the center of large plate.
Clamping range of 22'' plate: 11 - 24'' means the exterior clamp size; 13 - 26' means the interior support size.
During the tilting process, make sure that no one is standing behind the column.
If the sizes of rims to be removed are the same, it is not necessary to tighten the tire-changing arm or unlock the
tire-changing arm frequently. All you need to do is to lean the column or return it to the working position. The tire-
changing arm remains in the working position.
Do not put your hands on the wheel Column returning to the working position may crush the hand of operator and
get it stuck between the tire and rim.
