move with a sponge or brush. (We recom-
mend using a Scotch Brite „3M Non-Scratch"
cleaning sponge.)
• Please do not use steel wool or abrasive
scouring agents.
• Hard water and certain types of food can
result in limescale deposits or blue shimmer-
ing discolouration on the inside of the pan.
Remove this promptly and on a regular basis
by boiling vinegar in the cookware. If you do
not remove the food residue it can result in
corrosion.
• In persistent cases, we commend using WMF
Purargan® — available from your WMF dealer.
• Wipe the thermometer with a damp cloth and
warm water.
• Dry the cookware thoroughly before storing it.
Information for cleaning in the dishwasher
• The thermometer is not dishwasher safe. Wipe
with a damp cloth and warm water.
• Roasting pan, glass lid (without thermometer),
steaming rack and inserts can all be cleaned
in the dishwasher.
• Only use dishwasher detergent by well-known
brands. Always fill the salt and rinse aid dis-
pensers promptly. No salt should come into
contact with the inside of the dishwasher.
A concentration of salt can cause corrosion.
After filling the containers, we therefore
recommend that you run an intermediate
rinse cycle while the machine is empty.
• Rust can be transferred to the cookware from
other objects in the dishwasher. This can
cause corrosive damage if it is not removed
immediately.
• Open the dishwasher as soon as possible after
the end of the rinse cycle to allow for venti-
lation.
• Remove the cookware from the machine as
soon as possible and do not allow to stand for
long periods in damp air, otherwise stains may
appear on the surface.
• Dry the cookware thoroughly before storing it.
Information for induction hobs
Please note that induction is a very rapid heat
source. Never heat frying pans or pots without
content as overheating the cookware can dam-
age it.
When cooking on a high heat there may be a
humming noise. This noise occurs for technical
reasons and does not indicate that your hob or
cookware is faulty.
