Layout and function

WARNING!
Danger due to escaping compressed gas.

Some liquid will continue to run. Bodily injury due
to escaping liquid.
` ` Close the shut-off valve discharge hose
before mounting.
` ` Parts in contact with medium made of stainless
steel (1.4301) and PTFE.
` ` The instrument works with neutral gaseous media
(compressed air or nitrogen) and an inlet pressure
between 3 and max. 10 bar. Ensure correct connecti-
on of the supply line (see IN-access (G 1/4 "thread)
or adapter (see scope of delivery) and OUT-output
on the pressure regulating unit.
` ` Only use the instrument on UN containers made of steel
or plastic (except tinplate canisters) with a test pressure
of min. 150 kPa (1.5 bar, 21.7 psi).
` ` The instrument is suitable for filling highly pure liquids
and viscous media up to 500 mPas and up to max. 200 l
and flammable liquids of group IIA and IIB (see appendix).
Pay attention to the chemical Resistance!
` ` When filling flammable liquids always earth the inst-
rument with earthing cable of pressure regulating unit
(scope of delivery) and anti-static set (accessory).
` ` The instrument is suitable at a temperature range
from 0 to 40 °C.
NOTE!
` ` The pressure regulating unit is only suitable for
use with the supplied accessories.
` ` Constructional changes of the instrument or the
accessories aren't allowed.
NOTE!
Only trained specialists are allowed to carry out
maintenance and servicing!
` ` Under normal conditions an inspection is
recommended every 6 months. During this the
instrument should be externally inspected for
damage and checked for function. In case of in-
tense conditions, shorter maintenance intervals
may be required.
` ` It is recommended to regulary deflate the escape
valve to ensure the function of the escape valve.

` ` Check delivery for completeness and transport damage.
` ` Point out any damage in the packaging to the
freight forwarder/supplier immediately
Assembly
1. Stand pressure regulating unit  on a solid,
conductive surface or hang it on a suitable wall.
The hanging on the wall is possible with or without
transport stand . The borehole spacing of intru-
ment and transport stand is the same.







