• Setting the welding intensity
The following settings correspond to the usable current range depending on the type and diameter of the electrode. These ranges are quite large as
they depend on the application and the welding position.

• Setting the Arc Force
It is recommended to position the Force Arc in the middle position (0) to start welding and adjust it according to welding results and preferences.
Note: the adjustment range of the arcforce is specific to the type of electrode selected.
JOB STORAGE AND RECALL
The current settings are automatically saved and will load next time the machine is used.
In addition to the current settings, it is possible to save and recall so-called «JOB» configurations.
There are 100 JOBS per welding process, the memorisation includes:
- The main parameter,
- The secondary parameter,
- Subprocesses and button modes.
JOB MODE
This mode allows you to create, save, recall and delete JOBs.
QUICK LOAD – Recall of the JOBs using the trigger when not welding.
The Quick Load is a JOB recall mode (20 max) excluding welding and possible only in MIG-MAG and TIG processes.
From a Quickload list of previously created JOBs, JOBs are recalled by pulling the trigger briefly. All trigger modes (2T/4T) and welding modes (SPOT/
STD/PLS) are supported.
REMOTE CONTROL
• Digital remote control RC-HA2 (option ref. 047679) :
An analog remote control can be connected to the PULSFEED using the connector (I-7).
This control affects the voltage (1st potentiometer) and the wire speed (2nd potentiometer). Thus these settings cannot be accessed on the wire
feeder interface.
• Digital remote control RC-HD2 (option ref. 062122) :
A digital remote control can also be connected to the PULSFEED via the connector (I-8).
This remote control is designed to work with MIG / MAG and MMA welding processes. It can remotely operate the welding machine. The digital
remote control can be switched on and off using the ON/OFF button. When the digital remote control is switched on, the wire feeder interface
switches off. An image of the remote control appears on the wire feeder interface. As soon as the interface is switched off or disconnected, the wire
feeder interface switches back on.

The Hot Start generates an overcurrent during the arcing phase to prevent the electrode
from sticking. It is adjustable in intensity (% of welding current) and time (seconds).
0 - 2 secs.
The welding current is adjusted according to the type of electrode chosen (refer to the

electrode packaging).

The Arc Force is an overcurrent delivered when the electrode or a drop comes into contact

with the weld pool in order to avoid sticking.
