The Power Supply

The green light on the power supply is a "ready" light, indicating that the dermatome is ready
for use whenever the light is illuminated. The power supply features overcurrent protection by
means of either a circuit breaker or fuse. In case of an electrical overload on the 120V Model B
power supply the automatic circuit breaker will activate, resulting in a power interruption and
causing the green light to turn off. In the event of an electrical overload on the 230V Model B,
120V Model PI, or 230V Model PI the power supply fuse will activate to interrupt power and
cause the green light to turn off. To correct this issue the suspected cause of the electrical
overload (e.g., lodged material preventing blade movement or a power issue at the wall
receptacle) needs to be corrected prior to resetting the circuit breaker or replacing the fuses.
Only replace fuses with the proper EU approved fuses indicated in the table below.

Fuse Replacement
To replace the fuses of the Model B-230V, Model PI-120V, or Model PI -230V, remove the power
supply wall cord from the wall outlet and pull open the fuse drawer on the bottom of the plug
receptacle until it meets with resistance. Once the drawer is completely open, remove both
fuses and replace with new fuses as specified in the table above.
DO NOT AUTOCLAVE THE POWER SUPPLY OR THE POWER SUPPLY WALL CORD.
