4.2.11- Adjusting the bender
The bender (T) has the function of tilting the
crops, aiming to facilitate the harvesting and
provide the maximum use in the harvest. It
has a pantographic articulation system that
allows to regulate its height and its advance
according to the harvest conditions (type of
crop, size of crop, etc.)
ATTENTION!
Turn off the tractor and remove
the ignition key before starting
the following procedure.
Procedure:
The adjustment is made by changing the
position of the bolts (A) on the rods (B), as
described below:
Remove the fixing bolts (A) of the two bender
arms;
Change the fixing point of the arms to
another hole in the rods (B);
The upper holes raise and fall back and the
lower holes lower and advance the bender.
Never try to adjust the bender while the
machine is in motion. There is a risk of
serious accident if there is contact with
the moving drums.

until the drums completely stop turning.
