Configuration manual
Ingeteam recommends configuring the EMS energy manager with a fixed IP
address. This way its operation does not depend on a DHCP server.
6. Once the network settings have been selected, click on Next .
7. Click on Test Connectivity to verify the remote connectivity with the EMS energy
manager.
The following requirements are needed to allow remote connectivity with the
installation:
·
For the EMS energy manager, connection to a local network with output
to the Internet via port UDP80 and/or UDP1194.
·
For the PC, connection to a local network with output to the Internet via
port TCP22.
Ensure that the default gateway is correct, as otherwise the energy manager will
not have remote access. To obtain this information, access the network
configuration properties of a PC that is on the same network or request it from
the network administrator.
8. Click on Next .
9. Finally, enter the name of the installation and the password for the EMS energy
manager. Click on Finish .
10. An installation without data is automatically created.
If the Test Connectivity is not executed (or the result is negative and a remote
connection cannot be established with the EMS energy manager), an installation
is created in local mode with no remote access. In this case the remote
password is not requested.
