INTRODUCTION
These instructions explain the correct usage of the equipment. Only
certain techniques and uses are described. The user must always have
a solid understanding and working knowledge of rope based climbing
techniques and the ability to judge safety risks.

The user is solely responsible for heeding all warnings and using the
equipment correctly. Any misuse of this equipment will create additional

1 \ FIELD OF APPLICATION

is a part of an auxiliary friction control system requiring the use of a
Rope Wrench device. It's suitable for Stationary Rope System (SRS) and
Moving Rope System (MRS) as part of a secure hitch based climbing
system to allow climber to smoothly control rate of descend by adding
friction to the climbing system. (Fig 1)
MBS: 23kN. Major axis strength from main attachment point to rope
wench connection point is 23kN.
8kN (Hitch Tending Pulley) Based on direct pull. Pulley is designed for
tending the friction hitch and should not be used for any alternative
purpose.
This product must not be used for any purpose other than for which it
is designed.

case of difficulties encountered while using this system.
• A connector must be compatible with the equipment to which it is
attached. An incompatible connection can cause accidental discon-
nection, breakage, or affect the safe function of another piece of
equipment. You must verify the suitability of this equipment for use in
your application with regard to governmental regulations and other
standards on occupational safety.
Failure to follow any of these warnings may result in
severe injury or death.
If you are incapable of following these instructions, do not use this
equipment.
Working at height is a very dangerous activity which may lead to severe
injury or fatality. You must personally assume the responsibility to learn
the use and the safety measures that apply to this equipment. Remem-
ber that there is no better instruction than that of a trained instructor.
Train in the use of this equipment, verify that you have fully understood
how it works, and if in any doubt, please ask a competent person! Don't
make any alterations or additions to the equipment without the man-
ufacturer's prior written consent. Any repair shall only be made by the
manufacturer. The product shall not be used outside its limitations or
for any purpose other than that for which it is intended.
