Connect existing bordeaux 3-pin socket housing (1) of speaker cable from telephone speaker to branch A8,
bordeaux or possibly yellow 3-pin pin housing, green and yellow/black wire, from changeover module A.

The encoding of the changeover module A must be discussed and agreed upon with the customer.
Coding loop A5, blue wire, must not be changed.
If the customer requires that the radio is not muted during a telephone call, coding loop A6, white wire, must be cut
through at the changeover module and the wire ends insulated.
Secure changeover module A with cable ties on vehicle wiring harness in area of A-pillar.

On vehicles without on-board monitor radio
Release black 17-pin radio plug connector X18126 and connect branches A2, white/brown wire, and A3, red/white
wire, from changeover module A as follows:
Unplug existing 1-pin socket contact from plug-in location PIN 4, black wire (2), from black 17-pin socket housing of
radio plug connector X18126.
Connect unplugged 1-pin socket contact (2), black wire, to supplied black 2-pin socket housing (1) at plug-in
location PIN 2.
Connect socket contact from branch A2, white/brown wire, to black 17-pin socket housing of radio plug connector
X18126 at plug-in location PIN 4.
Unplug existing 1-pin socket contact (3) from plug-in location PIN 9, red/green wire, from black 17-pin socket
housing of radio plug connector X18126.
Connect unplugged 1-pin socket contact (3), red/green wire, to supplied black 2-pin socket housing (1) at plug-in
location PIN 1.
Connect socket contact from branch A3, red/white wire, to black 17-pin socket housing of radio plug connector
X18126 at plug-in location PIN 9.
Connect branch A1, black 2-pin pin housing to black 2-pin socket housing (1).
Now close black 17-pin socket housing of radio plug connector X18126 and connect to radio.

Release black 17-pin on-board monitor radio plug connector X18126 and connect branches B3, white/brown wire,
and B4, red/white wire, from adapter lead B as follows:
Unplug existing 1-pin socket contact (1) from plug-in location PIN 4, black wire, from black 17-pin socket housing of
radio plug connector X18126.
Connect unplugged 1-pin socket contact (1), black wire, to supplied black 2-pin socket housing (2) at plug-in
location PIN 2.
Connect socket contact from branch B3, white/brown wire, to black 17-pin socket housing of on-board monitor
radio plug connector X18126 at plug-in location PIN 4.
