The boundary wire and pegs inside the box, once laid out following the edge of your lawn
with a min. distance of 30 cm and connected to the charging station, produce an inductive
current loop that your new robot will recognize. It chooses its direction randomly. Once
the robotic mower detects properly installed boundary wire, it will turn around and
head to a different direction inside the area. T h u s it will mow the designated area
completely.

If the robotic mower meets an obstacle inside its working area, it will stop, move
backwards and turn to mow in another direction.
The built-in obstacle sensors trigger from a predefined impact force threshold, so that
housing vibrations in driving mode do not lead to faulty triggering. The pushing force is
generated by the kinetic energy of the driven rear wheels. However, in the case of slippery
surfaces, e.g. loose soil or wet grass, the wheels can turn without grip before reaching the
impact force threshold. This can leave traces on earth. Likewise, the outer housing of the
robot can damage, move or throw over an obstacle, depending on the nature of the surface
and the type of fastening. Therefore, any objects you wish to protect within the
