Reset to factory settings
Starting the unit and hold the Plus button [8] and Minus [9] button
pressed until the self-test is completed. Previously saved programs will
be deleted. The saved programs (see »Program presets«) are loaded. The
mixing speed is set to level 2.
Maintenance and care
Under normal operating conditions the device is maintenance-free. In
case of a malfunction, however, please contact your nearest Service Cent-
er. With the exception of the plunger disks and fuses there are no user
serviceable parts. Spare fuses and plunger disks are supplied with the
device.
Disinfection and cleaning
For your own safety please disconnect the device from the power sup-
ply before cleaning and disinfecting the unit. Disinfection solutions that
contain alcohol may be used. Please use a normal wipe disinfection to
keep the unit and cable clean. Use a soft cloth and mild detergent only
to clean the device.
Cleaning/replacing the plunger
Should the plunger disks become soiled or damaged they may be cleaned
or replaced as follows:
1. Retract the plungers to their original position and remove the car-
tridge.
2. Hold the Menu button [10] until you hear an acous-
tic signal. All symbols except for the cartridge and the
forward indicator disappear from the display.
The device chimes and the Start/Stop button [5] can be operated.
Hold the Menu button [10] during the entire process.
3. Advance the plungers forward so that plunger discs can be accessed
easily.
4. C lean: Clean the plunger disks with a soft cloth.
R eplace: Unscrew the screws of the plunger disks with the hex wrench
provided. Remove the plunger disks from their plungers and replace
them.
5. Press and hold the Menu button [10] again, and press the Reverse
button [6]. The plungers return to their original position. Plunger
disks and hex wrench are included in the accessory »Service Kit«.
Replacing the fuses
1. Unplug power cable.
2. Take out the fuse drawer [2] above the power port on the back of the
device with a screw driver and replace the fuses.

Troubleshooting
In case of a malfunction the device will display different error codes. E01
indicates a possible operation error. Please proceed as advised on the
display. If the malfunction cannot be remedied or if another error code

Device does not start

C heck if the power cable is connected properly to the device port and
the outlet.

C heck the fuses and replace them if necessary. Follow the specifica-
tions on the rating plate.
Device starts but no impression material is delivered

C heck if a new mixing tip is attached.
*
F oil bags: No foil bags in cartridge, foil bag is not opened sufficiently.
Impression material flows too slow

L et impression material warm to room temperature (18 °C/64 °F).
*
F oil bags: Check correct placement.
Impression material is dispensed, mixer does not turn

C heck if mixing rod is engaged properly into mixing tip.
*
Attach a new mixing tip, if hex opening of mixing tip is damaged.
Damaged foil bags
*
C heck plunger disks. Replace damaged plunger disks, tighten plunger
disks if loose.
Device automatically switches off

Remove cured material from cartridge openings.

C heck if a new mixing tip is attached.
*
Switch off device with main switch for at least 5 seconds.
