Starting the engine

2. Set the fuel cock (fig. 10, no. 8) to "ON".
4. Set the choke lever (fig. 12, no.10) to
"start" .

6. Carefully pull the pull-cord starter (fig. 14, no. 5) until you
can feel a light resistance, then pull it more forcefully.
Attention! Risk of injury!
There could be an unexpected kick-back from the
pull-cord starter, which could suddenly jam the pull-cord.
If you are starting an engine that has already warmed up,
you do not need the choke!
7. After a warm-up phase (1 - 2 min.), return the choke lever (fig. 12, no.10)
to the "Running"
