Indicator lamps
The last red lamp illuminates if the oil level of the generator is too low (low oil safe-
guard).
5.5
Stopping the engine
1. Disconnect all connected consumers from the electrical power generator.(fig.
11)
2. Set the start/stop switch (fig. 13, no. 11) to "STOP".
3. Set the fuel cock (fig. 10, no. 8) to "Off".
Note
If you have to switch the engine off immediately due to an emergency sit-
uation, set the starter switch to "OFF" ("0").

Operating options of the generator
Earth the generator before use
Make sure that the generator is earthed by pushing a metal rod*
into the ground and connecting it with earth connection via a ca-
ble*(fig .16, no. 17). (* = not included in scope of delivery.)
1. Operate the device as described in these instructions only! Any
other use is considered misuse and can cause hazardous situa-
tions.
2. When connecting several consumers to the generator, first connect the consumers
with highest power consumption and then with lower power consumption. When
using extension cables or mobile distribution networks, a maximum length of 60 m
must not be exceeded for a cross-sectional area of 1.5 mm2 . A
length of 100 m must not be exceeded for a cross-sectional area
of 2.5 mm2 . Use flexible hard rubber extension cables only,
which corresponds to the brief design description H07RN-F.
3. The CPG 2000 INV generator is equipped with an ECON switch
(fig. 17, no. 15). This activates economic engine regulation so
that the engine power is adapted to the consumers and the cur-
rent that they draw. ECON operation enables more efficient use
of fuel.
4. Electrical devices and appliances need a large amount of energy at the time of
start-up. The following table offers an overview of different device examples.
Attention!
Electrical devices and equipment, such as extension cables, sockets,
connected consumers etc., may be used only if they are not damaged.

Translation of the original operating instructions
The overload indicator lamp switches on auto-
matically and illuminates red if the generator is
overloaded. In this case, the generator must be
switched off and the engine started anew.
The green lamp – the pilot indicator lamp (oper-
ating indicator lamp) – is always illuminated
when the device is operating.
