5.4 Connection of the tools to the tool chuck
5.4.1 Connection of tools with Aesculap square shaft or
hexagonal shaft
To attach a tool to the chuck, first push the tool 1 or 7 with an
Aesculap square or hexagonal shaft into the chuck 3 or 8. Rotate
the tool until you find the position for the square/hexagonal shaft
and push the tool in as far as it will go.
NOTE
Before attaching the square shaft, tool chuck GB 411 R must be
secured on the driven shaft of the drill! A tool can only operate if
the chuck is fitted on the drill.

For uncoupling, pull the tool release sleeve 2 towards the drill 16,
hold it in this position and remove the tool 1 or 7.

5.4.2 Connection of tools with AO shaft
For coupling, pull the tool release sleeve 2 towards the drill 16,
hold it in this position and insert the tool 5 with AO shaft. Turn the
tool 5 into the corresponding position of the flat section and push
it as far as it will go. Now let go of the tool release sleeve 2, which
must snap into place clearly. If the tool release sleeve 2 does not
snap into place, pull the tool 5 gently until the tool release sleeve
2 engages.
