Unplug the power cord from mains socket before commencing any activities related to installation,
adjustment, repair or maintenance.
MAINTENANCE AND STORAGE
● It is recommended that the device be cleaned immediately after each use.
Do not use water or chemical detergents for cleaning.
The tool should be cleaned with a brush or with compressed air at low pressure. Do not use any cleaning
agents or solvents, as they may damage the parts made of plastic.
Regularly clean the ventilation slots in the motor housing to prevent overheating of the device.
In case of excessive sparking on the motor commutator, have the state of carbon brushes checked by
a suitably skilled person.
The device should be always stored in a dry place, out of reach of children.
REPLACEMENT OF CARBON BRUSHES
Replace immediately the motor carbon brushes when worn out (shorter than 5 mm), burnt or
cracked. Always replace both brushes at the same time.
● Remove the carbon brush covers (8) (Fig. J).
Take out the worn carbon brushes.
Remove the carbon dust, if any, using low-pressure compressed air.
Install new carbon brushes (the brushes should slide easily into the brush holders) (

Having completed the replacement of carbon brushes, turn the device on and let it run for about
3 minutes, until the carbon brushes wear to fit the motor commutator. It is recommended that the
replacement of carbon brushes be carried out exclusively by a qualified person, using the original
parts.
All faults should be repaired by service workshop authorized by the manufacturer.
