Observe new safety distance!
The safety distance between the sensor protection field
(FGS) and the danger point must be noted and, if necessary,
corrected.
Guest sensor only as point-of-operation guarding
In case of a FGS-Cascade with different resolutions (Host
sensor 14 mm, Guest sensor 30 mm) on LCU-P, the Guest
sensor cannot be used for point-of-operation guarding.
The "sensor test yes/no" function makes it possible, via
terminals 42 and 43 (cycle input) to test all connected sensors
by means of a normally closed contact. At the same time the
LCU deactivates the outputs.
In "with restart interlock" run mode the unit must be released
by actuating the reset switch; in "without restart interlock" run
mode the LCU automatically reactivates the outputs.
The "system test" function is always active. The actuation of a
contact on terminals 46 and 47 leads to a complete testing of
the unit, including sensors.
The type of test contact (make/break) can be set in the
programming menu. During testing the LCU deactivates the
outputs and issues the test command to the connected
sensors.
In the "with start/restart interlock" operating mode, the
necessary command device (Reset button n.o.) is activated, in
order to reach the green condition (activation of outputs).
