- Remove the shaft [2100] from the column [1340B].
DISMANTLING OF BEARING BRACKET TYPE TH WITH MOTOR FRAME
V18 :
Danger from squeeze points. Depending on mating plate size it
may be necessary to use slings to lift the plate prior to dismantling.
The last column can remain fastened to the mating plate if
necessary.
- Shim under pump so that it is horizontal.
- Remove the screws [7416] and the support washer [7419].
- Loosen screws [7412] to ease the shaft [2100] out.
- Slide the shaft [2100] out of the lantern [3142] and remove the lip
seal [4300].
- Lay the shaft [2100] onto the floor in a safe position.
- Remove the fastening screws [6577B] from the lantern [3142] and
remove this assembly.

- Remove the inner elastic ring [6544B] from the lantern [3142].
- Slide out the complete coupling assembly [7010] + [3011].
- Remove the centering O'Ring [4610A].
- If necessary extract the ball bearing [3011] after the elastic
coupling [6544A] was removed.
9.3.6 ASSEMBLY OF THE BEAR ING BRACKET
9.3.6.1 ASSEMBLY OF BEARING BRACKET TYPE TM
- Slide the lip seal [4300B], the lower bearing cover [3262] and the
washer [2461B] onto the shaft [2100].
- Fit the ball bearing [3011B] in place and slide the spacer sleeve
[2461A] on the shaft [2100].
- Slide the assembly into the bearing bracket housing [3142].
- Slide the self-aligning ball bearing [3011B] onto the shaft and into
the bearing bracket housing.
- Fit the upper bearing cover [3261] in place upon the bearing
bracket [3142] and fasten with screws [6577K].
- Fasten lower bearing cover [3262] with screws [6570F].
- Press the lip seal [4300B] onto the bearing cover [3262].
