TECHNICAL DESCRIPTION
COD. 6902100050
4) Regulating the welding voltage – proceed as described for MIG 2 TIME welding
5) Regulating the ARC TRIM Electronic Inductance - proceed as described for MIG 2
TIME welding
6) Regulating the BURN BACK time - proceed as described for MIG 2 TIME welding
7) Regulating the post-gas time - proceed as described for MIG 2 TIME welding
8) Gas PURGE function - proceed as described for MIG 2 TIME welding
9) INCH wire advance function - proceed as described for MIG 2 TIME welding
MIG 4 TIMES welding procedure: manual regulation
Starting welding:
1) Hold down the gas PURGE button (ref.12 page 9) for a few seconds to purge the
gas.
2) Press the INCH button (ref.13 page 9) for manual advance of the wire, so as to
make the wire run through the torch until it is just protruding from the nozzle.
3) Set the welding parameters.
4) Perform welding: press and hold down the torch button (the green Led (ref.2 page 9)
lights up; the gas will come out (pre-gas) as long as the button is held down; when the
torch button is released the wire will start to come out and the arc will be lit, thus
making the weld.
5) It is possible to vary the characteristic of the arc using the ARC TRIM function. It is
recommended to start welding with the value set at 0. If any splashes occur during
welding, increase the ARC TRIM value; instead, if the wire tends to stick and burns
with difficulty, decrease the ARC TRIM value.
6) During welding the left-hand display (ref.5 page 9) shows the value of the set wire
speed (expressed in m/min) or of the real current (expressed in Ampere), depending on
whether the reading of the current with the button A (ref.25 page 9) is enabled; on the
right-hand display (ref.7 page 9) you can see the real voltage value (expressed in Volt).
End of welding:
7) When the torch button is pressed again the arc will go out; the gas will come out as
long as the button is held down; when the button is released the gas will continue to
come out, depending on the time set with the post-gas function.
8) At the end of welding, both displays will keep for a few seconds the real current and
voltage values obtained during welding.
