Air pressure regulator
On certain types of pumps which use manifold pressure
compensation (LDA), pneumatic supply has to be pro-
vided. The pneumatic supply (Fig. 4, Pos. 7) is connect-
ed to the manifold pressure inlet on the fuel injection
pump via the hose for LDA (supplied with the EPS 625,
part number F 002 DG3 9K0).
The air pressure to be used for calibration is specified
in the test specification of the fuel injection pump.
The air pressure value can be viewed on the gauge
(Fig. 4, Pos. 5) on the front panel. The air pressure
is regulated by means of the air pressure regulator
(Fig. 4, Pos. 2).
The air pressure regulator receives the air supply from
the main pneumatic supply of the shop via the pneu-
matic filter (Fig. 9, Pos. 1). The pneumatic filter has a
auto-drain feature through which the mist gets filtered
and is routed out of the EPS 625 through a hose.
i
Collect the discharged water in a container and dis-
pose it at least once a week.
