Cleaning Guidelines

! WARNING: Wash the blades with caution as they are very sharp.
! WARNING: Always put the 2 buttons on their lock position (
cleaning manipulation and whenever any usage of the Mandoline is temporarily
interrupted.
• It is strongly recommended that you wash the blades immediately after each use
and rinse the Mandoline completely.
• Under tap water, clean the blade insert separately from the frame. The stripes
blades cylinder cover (e) can be opened for cleaning with a brush. Be extremely
cautious as all blades are sharp on both sides.
• The Mandoline is dishwasher safe. Never let the blades in contact with other
metal, ceramic or glass instruments as this would damage the cutting edge of
the blades.
• In the dishwasher, keep the stripes blades cylinder cover closed. The holes in
the cover will allow the water to flow through.
• With caution you can remove possible spots on the blades with a stainless steel
cleaner.
• The food guider can be disassembled for a thorough cleaning by pulling on the
knob.
Use and care
• When not in use, place both the upper plate and the stripes blades cylinder in a
locked position (
• Do not try to sharpen the blades with a knife sharpener. If your blade insert (g or
h) becomes blunt over time, contact your Tupperware consultant to purchase a
replacement.
• Always hold the blade insert by the plastic side; never grasp it by the blade.
• Always let the blade insert fall on the floor if dropped. Do not attempt to catch it
mid-air.
• This product and all its components are not intended to be used by children.
Make sure that you keep them out of reach of children. Do not leave the
Mandoline or a blade insert unattended when children are present.
• If food is blocked on the blade insert (g or h),
unclip the blade insert from the frame (a) to release the food (3) and avoid hand
contact with the blade. Turn the stripes blades button to the lock position ( )
before releasing the blade insert. Do not apply force.
• The food guider (i) should be used for all tasks.
• Let all components dry completely before reassembling the Mandoline.
• The Mandoline should be stored with the
round (b) and the triangular (c) buttons in the
locked position ( ).
• Store the blade inserts (g & h) back in the storage
box (f). Like indicated on the pictogram on the storage box (6) hold the storage
box (with TW logo visible) and slide the blade insert in the slot. Attach the
storage box to the bottom of the Mandoline for compact storage, the storage box
tab being on the same side than the buttons (b & c).

The Tupperware guarantee protects the Mandoline against chipping, cracking,
breaking or peeling under normal non-commercial use for the lifetime of the
product. This guarantee does not include replacement for used blades, nor
does it cover rusting or other damage to the product resulting from negligent
use or misuse of the product. Please contact your Tupperware consultant for a
replacement.
