indicators for low battery or circuit problems. Components

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
Read the Instruction Manual thoroughly for indications, contraindications,
warnings and precautions, and methods of operation before initiating treatment.
STEP 1: Assess Skin Condition at electrode sites.
STEP 2: Prepare the Skin by cleaning and drying it thoroughly. Do not use rubbing
alcohol unless skin is excessively oily. If necessary, trim excess body hair
at application site before applying electrodes. DO NOT shave application
sites 24 hours prior to treatment.
STEP 3: Connect the Lead Wires to the Electrodes. Pay careful attention to the
polarity required for the treatment electrode. Always match the polarity of
the drug ion with the polarity of the drug delivery electrode.
STEP 4: Prepare the Electrodes following the instructions accompanying the
electrodes.
STEP 5: Place the Electrodes on skin.
STEP 6: Connect the Lead Wires to the Device. Caution: Be sure the device is OFF
before connecting the lead wires.
STEP 7: Set the Power Switch to ON.
STEP 8: Set the Desired Treatment Dosage for CH1 using the (S1) mode. The
display will start with a dosage of 40mA
STEP 9: Adjust the dosage for CH1, by pressing the ∆ or ∇ Dosage Button until the
correct dosage is displayed.
