T-Connector Wiring Harness
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
1. Read instructions thoroughly before beginning.
2. Open the rear tailgate to access the bolts
that hold the taillights in place. Remove two
bolts and carefully pry the taillight housings
outward to the rear of the vehicle, being careful
not to break the alignment tabs.
3. On both the driver's and passenger's side,
carefully pull out the vehicle taillight wire
harness to unseat the grommets (Fig. 1).
4. Inside the vehicle's rear cargo area,
temporarily remove all floor coverings, cargo
trays and the plastic threshold cover (fig. 2).
Partially remove side trim panels, being
careful not to damage clips or screws
(Fig. 3).
5. Beginning on the left (driver's)
side, route the T-Connector
harness ends with the Yellow
wires from behind the interior
trim panel, out through
grommet opening exposed
in step 3.
6. Separate the vehicle's large
black wiring connector matching
that on the T-connector harness
from the tail light assembly,
being careful not to break
the locking tabs. Ensure that the
mating surfaces are free of dirt. Plug the T-Connector harness
