Booster Seat without Backrest
1. Ensure the booster seat is positioned in a location that has a
vehicle head restraint, and attach lower connectors as shown in
Positioning the Booster Seat on page 18.
2. Seat your child in the booster seat. The top of the child's ears
must be below the top of the vehicle head restraint.
3. Pull the vehicle seat belt out, then route the lap part of the
vehicle seat belt under both armrests and over the left and right
base belt guides.
NOTE: The shoulder part of the vehicle seat belt should be
routed under the armrest on the buckle side.
4. Verify that the vehicle seat belt is not twisted and then fasten
across the child.
NOTE: The lap part of the vehicle seat belt should be worn
under the armrests and rest low on the child's upper thighs. The
shoulder belt should lie across the center of the child's chest and
be positioned at or above the child's shoulder.
