Setting the Activation Method/Transmission Protocol

Clean and dry the probe well before opening!

Do NOT blow off with compressed air!

Setting the activation method/transmission protocol
1.
Slide the battery compartment sleeve partially down, keeping the battery held in place (Fig. 16).
2.
Press the push-button (Fig. 16) next to the display for 1 s to get to the menu for selecting the protocol
(setting level 1).
3.
Keep pressing the push button until the desired transmission protocol is displayed (see table).
4.
Then wait approx. 3 s until the probe automatically switches to the menu for setting the transmission power and
the activation method (setting level 2).
5.
Keep pressing the push button until the desired setting is displayed (see table).
6.
Then wait approx. 3 s until the probe automatically switches to the menu for setting the activation code (setting
level 3, for activation method BI only) or exits the setting menu (for AZ and WS activation modes -> in this case,
working steps 7 and 8 can be skipped).
7.
Keep pressing the push button until the desired setting is displayed (see table).
8.
Then wait approx. 3 s until the probe exits the setting menu.
9.
Close the battery compartment sleeve, and make sure the O-Ring is properly seated.
