14.3 Preparation of the surface

The use of paint thinners, gasoline, corrosive chemicals or abrasive cleaners will
result in damage to the surface!
Therefore use only mild cleaning agents.
Before you install and commission the machine at the intended location, carefully remove the
anti-corrosion protection and grease residues. This can be done with the usual solvents. Under
no circumstances should you use nitro thinner or similar cleaning agents that could attack the
painting of the machine, and in no case water.

14.4 Assembling the machine

The machine has been disassembled for transport and must be assembled before use. Follow
the instructions below:

1. Assembly machine feet
 Screw the 4 machine feet into the bore-
holes located at the corners of the machine.
NOTE: Always adjust the machine horizontally
(spirit level).
2. Assembly handwheel height adjust-
ment of the saw blade / handwheel
saw blade tilting
 Place the handwheel for height adjustment
(1) on the shaft and tighten the allen
screw.
 Mount the handwheel for saw blade tilting
(2) in the same way as described above.
3. Assembly table extension (length)
 Remove the 3 screws (1) and washers (2)
from the main table.
 Fix the table extension to the main table
with 3 screws (1) and washers (2).
NOTE: Always level the edge of the table ex-
tension with that of the main table (straight
piece of wood / spirit level) before tightening
the screws.
 Tighten the screws with a wrench.
