Procedure:
1. Ensure that the cables are voltage-free.
2. Open the product using the provided switch cabinet key.
3. Remove the fastening screws from the connecting plate (TX25) and take off the connecting plate.
4. For each connection cable, select 1 of the supplied cable glands that matches the outer diameter of the selected
cable.
5. Select knockouts that match the selected cable glands.
6. Break out the selected knockouts. Ensure not to damage the coating of the connecting plate.
7. Insert the fastening screws into the connecting plate. Guide the
fastening screws through the seal without changing the position
and location of the seal.
8. Reinsert the connecting plate and tighten the screws (TX25,
torque: 2.5 Nm (22.2 in-lb)). Adjust the connecting plate so that
the broken out knockouts face the rear of the switch cabinet.
9. Unscrew the counter nut from each cable gland.
10. Screw each cable gland onto the designated opening in the connecting plate using the counter nut.
11. Unscrew the swivel nut from each cable gland.
12. For pre-assembled cables perform the following steps:
• Pull the cable support sleeve out of the cable gland.
• Lead the cable through the swivel nut.
• Insert the cable in the cable support sleeve.
• Press the cable support sleeve into the cable gland.
• Ensure that any unused cable openings are sealed with filler plugs.
13. For cables not preassembled, perform the following steps:
• Lead the cable through the swivel nut and through the cable gland.
• Dismantle the cable.
• Strip the insulation of the cable's conductors (insulation stripping length: 8 mm to 10 mm (0.31 in to
0.39 in)). Ensure that no remaining pieces of the cable's insulation fall into the enclosure.
14. Ensure that the amount of each cable inserted is of a sufficient length for the selected terminal.
15. Firmly hand-tighten the swivel nuts of the cable glands. This will secure the cables.
