9.6 Cleaning filter circuit
Machine has a cartridge filter mountedunder the frame on the right side (fig. 13)
1. Drain the solution tank;
2. Unscrew the filter;
3. Remove the cartridge and clean it with a water jet;
4. Reassemble everything by repeating these procedures in reverse order.
9.7 Machine cleaning
WARNING
- Do not clean the machine with high pressure cleaners or open water. Use only a wet cloth.
10 TROUBLE SHOOTING
10.1 Insufficient water to the brushes
1. Check that the cock is open;
2. Check that there is water in the solution tank;
3. Check that the hoses are clean and not damaged;
4. Check the working of the solenoid. If it works properly you can hear a beat when switching on and off the brushes;
5. Check that the wirings are not cut or damaged;
10.2 Squeegee does not dry perfectly
1. Check that squeegee is clean
2. Check that the top cover is correctly positioned
3. Clean the entire aspiration unit (see chapter "11 – WEEKLY MAINTENANCE")
4. Ball float has not to be stuck in the vacuum aspiration closure. If necessary, clean the edge and the ball or replace it;
5. Replace worn rubbers.
10.3 Machine does not clean well
1. Check the condition of the brushes and replace if necessary. Brushes must be replaced when bristles are about 20 mm. high.
Working with brushes that are too worn may cause damage to the floor.
2. Use another type of brush rather than the standard brush. We recommend, to clean floors with exceptionally tough dirt, the use
of special brushes that are supplied on request and according to your specific needs
10.4 Too much foam is generated
Check that low-foam detergent is used. Add if necessary a small quantity of anti-foam liquid to the recuperation tank.
Remember that more foam is generated when the floor to be cleaned is not very dirty. In this case use a more diluted detergent
solution.
10.5 The vacuum does not operate
1. Check that motor signal lamp on the vacuum switch is on
2. Check that the electrical connector is properly connected
3. Check the battery level
4. Check the thermical switch(Nr. 2 of CONTROLS AND INSTRUMENTS table).
10.6 Brush motor does not operate
WARNING
– To avoid damage to the floors, the engine starts when the accelerator is pressed
1. Check that motor signal lamp on the brushes switch is on
2. Check that the electrical connector is properly connected
3. Check the battery level
4. Check the intervention of the protection
10.7 Machine does not start
1. Check that On-Off key is switched on;
2. Check that batteries are charged
3. The operator must be sitted on the driver's seat and safety switch on the footboard has to be pressed by operator's left foot
(Fig. 3 – 2);
4. Check the connection of platform switch.
