- The speaker is off if headphones, HDMI cable or AV cable are
connected.
- Adjust the volume.
- Check the HDMI connections.
- Check the settings in "Audio" menu.
- Check the disc for fingerprints / scratches and clean with a soft
cloth wiping from center to outer edge.
- Clean the disc.
- Clean the disc.
- Ensure the disc label is facing up.
- Check if the disc is defective by trying another disc.
- Cancel the ratings control or change the control level.
- Insert a correct region code disc that can be played back on
this unit.
- Format on the card does not match which is accepted by this
unit or the card is not compatible (microSDHC and miniSDHC
Memory Cards).
- Reset this unit by turning it off for 30 seconds, then on again.
- Aim the remote control directly at infrared sensor window.
- Reduce the distance to infrared sensor window.
- Replace the battery in the remote control.
- Re-insert the battery with the + side facing up.
- To completely reset the unit, press and hold [STANDBY/ON]
on the unit for 10 seconds to shut down the unit or disconnect
the AC adapter and detach the battery pack for 5-10 seconds.
- Operations may not be permitted by the disc.
Refer to the instructions of the disc.
- Condensation? (Let sit 1 or 2 hours)
- Make sure the disc is compatible with this unit. (For playable
discs, refer to page 18.)
- Wipe the dirt off the disc or replace the disc.
- The angle cannot be switched for BD / DVD which do not
contain multiple angles. In some cases multiple angles are
only recorded for specific scenes.
- Check the settings in "Parental" menu.
- Enter the default password "4737", then your forgotten
password will be cleared.
- Check if the LAN cable connection is properly made.
- Turn on the modem or broadband router.
- Check the network setting.
- Check if the broadband router and/or modem is correctly
connected.
- Check the "BD-Live Setting".
- When connecting directly to a modem via a LAN cable, you
might need to power cycle the modem to reset settings on the
modem.
