IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
* Make sure the fryer is always filled to a level between the two indication marks on the
inner pot.
* The oil or fat should be changed regularly.
* Should the oil or fat overheat, open the lid and switch off the appliance.
* During frying, hot steam is released. Keep your hands and face at a safe distance from
the steam. You should also be careful of the hot steam when you open the lid.
* Keep the appliance out of reach of children when you use it.
* Do not let the mains cord hang over the edge of the table or work board on which the
appliance is standing.
* Stumbling over it may cause electric shocks.
* This appliance is not available for people who is an avaletudinarian, slow reaction or
psychopath (including children).
* Children should be protected and avoid to use such appliance as a toy.
* After you have used the appliance, set the temperature control to the lowest setting(turn
it completely to the left). Remove the plug from the wall socket and let the oil or fat cool
down. Do not move the fryer until it has cooled down sufficiently.
* If the mains cord or other parts of this appliance are damaged, they must be replaced
at an authorized service center, since repair requires special tools and/or parts. Do-it-
yourself repairs may cause electric shocks.
* Let the appliance cool down completely before you store it away.
* Wind up the mains cord round the deep fat fryer when you kept in store.
COOL ZONE
During frying, loose food particles collect on the bottom of the inner pot. As the heating
element has been placed in some distance above the bottom of the inner pot and primarily
heats the oil or fat above it, the oil or fat between the bottom of the inner pot and the
heating element remains relatively cool (cool zone).
BEFORE FRYING
Before you use the deep fat fryer for the first time, rinse the bowl thoroughly. The level
of oil must be maintained up to the maximum level, marked the "MAX". Place the
temperature regulator on the minimum position before you connect the appliance.
FRYING
1. Put the appliance on a horizontal, even and stable surface out of reach of children. If
you want to place the fryer on top of a cooker, underneath the extractor hood, make sure
the rings of the cooker have been turned off.
2. Fill the fryer with oil, liquid fat or melted solid fat up to the top indication mark on the
inner pot. We advise you to use vegetable oil. Never mix together different kinds of oil.
3. Put the plug in the wall socket. Make sure the cord does not come into contact with
hot parts of the appliance.
