8.4 Connecting the test specimen to the test bench

How to connect the test specimen:
1. Switch off the power switch and main switch.
2. Connect the cables according to the wiring diagram (see chapter "Wiring diagram").
3. Connect the temperature switch connections (6) to the motor (see chapter "Wiring diagram").
4. Switch on the power supply again before taking a measurement.

Electric shock due to defective cables
• Check the laboratory safety cables/power supply cable for damage each time
before using them
• Remove any damaged cables from the experiment area
• Use only suitable power supply cables and laboratory safety cables

Electric shock due to high leakage current
• Operate the device only with a second protective grounding conductor
Destruction of the current measurement path
Incorrect wiring can cause destruction of the current measurement path
• Check the wiring for the experiment
