3.4.2 Language selection (Figure No. 4)
Select your language by pressing the appropriate round, yellow sensor button. The sensor but-
ton changes color upon pressing. There is no time limit for language selection. The language
may also be changed later. The language selection will be displayed only after resetting the lan-
guage in the main menu (see section 4.5.2.3) and a complete disconnection from main power.
3.4.3 Introduction (Figure No. 5)

3.4.4 Installation and safety notes (Figure No. 6)
The most important installation notes as well as the note to follow the installation and safety no-
tes in the operating manual are displayed. Confirm with the OK button that you have complied
with the installation notes and press the sensor button "
3.4.5 Functional test (Figure No. 7)
The functional test starts automatically and is documented in the display. The test result is
shown in an info field. If there are no errors and all test sections are ticked off, the next screen
"Basic settings" is dis played automatic ally after completion of the test.
If there are errors during the test, the test section is marked with a red X and an appropriate no-
te in the info field is displayed. In this case, confirm the test result with the sensor button "OK".
The functional test is carried out after any disconnection from main power.
Note: When pressing the sensor button

3.4.6 Basic settings (Figure No. 8)
Note: Several settings of the Multimat2 Touch are preset on delivery. You may accept
these settings by pressing the sensor button

3.4.6.1 Temperature mode

Pressing the yellow sensor button changes the temperature mode between °C and °F.

3.4.6.2 Night/Standby temperature

This function is used to set the temperature of the furnace when switched off but not discon-
nected from main power. The night/standby temperature prevents moisture to collect in the
furnace chamber. This temperature is used in the night mode (see section 4.4) and in standby
mode. When switching the furnace off with the "On/Off" switch, the standby function is activa-
ted automatically.
The yellow sensor button can be used to set the desired temperature.
1. Press the sensor button (button changes color).
2. Enter the new temperature with the numeric sensor keypad.
3. Temperature >100 °C (212 °F) = night/standby ready
4. Temperature <100 °C (212 °F) = night/standby not ready
5. Press sensor button again (or select next sensor field), and the new temperature value is
saved (sensor field changes to yellow again).
6. Wrong entries can be deleted with the sensor button "C".
