3.4.6.3 Vacuum mode
Pressing the yellow sensor button changes the vacuum mode between hPa, inHg and Hg".
In the modes inHg and Hg", the pressure is displayed with one decimal.
Note:
-
hPa
1013 hPa
= standard pressure at sea level
-
inHg
29.9 inHg
= standard pressure at sea level
-
Hg"
0 Hg"
= standard pressure at sea level (US standard)
3.4.6.4 System time
1. Press the sensor button next to "Time" (button changes color).
2. Enter the 4-digit number for hours/minutes with the numeric sensor keypad. Date mode: hh:mm.
3.4.6.5 Date
1. Press the sensor button next to "Date".
2. Enter the 8-digit number for day/month/year with the numeric sensor keypad. Date mode: dd:mm:yyyy.
3.4.6.6 Acoustic signal
Press the sensor keypad to switch the acoustic signal on or off.
3.4.6.7 Idle temperature
This function is used to save energy and reduce the surface temperature of the furnace.
Note: The idle temperature is factory-set to 400 °C (752 °F). It cannot be set to temperatures > 600 °C (1112 °F). The idle temperature must be
set to 25 °C (77 °F) lower than the preheating temperature.
1. Press the sensor button next to "Idle temperature".
2. Enter the new temperature with the numeric keys of the right control pad.
3.4.6.8 Upper temperature limit
This function is used to limit the maximum permissible temperature of the furnace.
Note: It is recommended to limit the upper temperature value, if a heavy stress to the muffle can and shall be prevented.
1. Press the sensor button next to "Upper temperature limit".
2. Enter the new temperature with the numeric keys of the right control pad.
3. Press the sensor button "Upper limit value" again (or select next sensor field), and the new temperature value is saved (sensor field changes
to yellow again).
3.4.6.9 Data output
By pressing the sensor button, the data output changes between "printer", "PC", and no output.
If the symbols "printer" or "PC" are activated, all target and actual values are automatically transferred to printer/PC at the end of each firing
cycle, as long as a printer or PC is connected.
The theoretical firing data can be displayed at any time by activating the PR/PC sensor button at the bottom of the screen (firing data screen).
If no printer or PC symbol is displayed, the data output is disabled.
3.4.6.10 Screen brightness
The screen brightness can be set with the sensor buttons "+" for increasing the brightness and "–" for decreasing the brightness.
After completion of the basic settings, press the sensor button "
